Born in 1953, Tsikey Chokling Rinpoche is the fourth reincarnation of the prominent 19th-century Nyingma master, Terchen Chokgyur Dechen Lingpa. For the previous 40 years, Rinpoche has resided at Ka-Nying Shedrub Ling Abbey, where he works as the Vajra Master. He is a terton, or revealer of Padmasambhava’s covert treasures, as well as an ordinary professional with a wife and 4 kids. His senior boy, Phakchok Rinpoche, is an incarnate high Lama, who directs abbeys and Dharma centres of his own both worldwide and in Nepal. Chokling Rinpoche’s younger child, Khyentse Yangsi Rinpoche, is the reincarnation of Kyabje Dilgo Khyentse Rinpoche.
